Filter too big for 2008 F250

This filter is a bit big. I had to push hard but I couldn't pass properly. The rubber seal, which should slide to the right (when looking into the cab), does not snap into place even with a lot of force. Compared to the previous air filter, it's just too big. I would avoid this filter for 2008, 2009, 2010 Ford diesel engines.
