First time use with Conair pink rollers: The longer end of the clip sometimes moves the next roller a little when you wind the rollers on short to medium hair. I like to only use medium and small reels and ended up using the metal clips that come with the reel set because those clips don't really fit. They keep you warm a little longer. So if you want a really quick set and go I wouldn't recommend using these clips. I put on curlers, used these clips, put on makeup and my hair was still warm when brushed. I think it needs to cool for the curl to lock in place. They are MUCH easier to use than the metal J-Clamps that come with the reel set. I just want the longer end of the clip to be about 1/4 inch shorter.
