I have a vintage set of 12 Conair Jumbo (1 1/2") and Super Jumbo (2"). I lost the clips so I got them to replace. I was also going to order a second set of reels but was suspicious due to the bad reviews of the clips. I'm Korean with waist length hair that's layered in the front from about collarbone down. First time use with Conair pink rollers: The longer end of the clip sometimes moves the next roller a little when you wind the rollers on short to medium hair. I like to only use medium and small reels and ended up using the metal clips that come with the reel set because those clips don't really fit. They keep you warm a little longer. So if you want a really quick set and go I wouldn't recommend using these clips. I put on curlers, used these clips, put on makeup and my hair was still warm…

Doesn't tell how many clips you have. Well I have 10 pieces in a pack. They are all the same size and fit perfectly on my big and giant Conair reels. Easy to roll up. They don't fit as tight as if you were using pin clips. However, they curled my hair in no time.

I use steam rollers. I never liked the clips that came with my videos. (I'm older and my arms don't work like they used to) A friend had these clips and they work fine with my skates. Others commented that they didn't hold up well. I found this if you put the short side up. hold very well. Think of the short side, which opposes gravity.

This is the third item I have purchased. Not because they break, but because I keep losing them. They hold my hot coils tighter than the wire stock that comes with them. They are very convenient and can be used at other times. I use mine to hold my hair when I cut my bangs or when I color my hair. They're painted on, but since I only use them for hair, I don't care.

After reading some of the reviews I didn't know what to expect but I was so sick of cords falling out or flying around the room and I stilled my head had to hold (when the wire was actually left halfway) for the time it took me. I don't have Conair rollers but when I got them I tried them straight away. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! My hair is very thick and it makes me so happy that I want to use my hot curlers again!
