I got a couple dozen of these from POE in Texas and have used them to replace power supplies wherever I could get PoE. It's amazing how much easier it can be to get ethernet somewhere instead of 120VAC. I've run them in both hot and cold conditions with no problems. By using them, I've simplified my wiring, reduced the risk of electrocution, I've become more environmentally friendly since I don't convert power everywhere, and most of my devices are connected to the UPS's PoE switch.
