I have a great Kärcher all-purpose vacuum cleaner. The only thing missing was a motorized nozzle, so I needed a good inexpensive nozzle with a suction drive and a rotating brush to pick up dog hair from the carpet in the low-pile basement. This product is very suitable for this purpose. Also easy to clean. It's very powerful paired with a good vacuum and the brush spins very quickly. For this reason I would NOT use it on hard floors. However, it works great on flat carpets. It simply sinks into beds with a middle pile or dog beds. But I didn't buy it for that.
