Why do you need this WSP50GR instead of WSP50

This WSP50PR has a beautiful design. I am very happy and grateful that Ispring makes this version of the water filter. This type of filter needs to be in a vertical position to work, and the plumbing in my house is vertical. So when I use a WSP50 the filter is in a horizontal position. For this reason, the WSP50PR is a very good option. The second feature of this WSP50PR is the scraper. There are two types of sediment in my lines: coarse, like red sand, and fine, like red powder. Coarse sediments are mainly at the bottom and can easily be washed away by opening the valve. Fine sediment mainly sticks to the filter fabric. Some can be washed off by opening the valve, but most still remain on the filter screen. The scraper consists of a round piece of plastic that can be gripped and rotated by hand. As it rotates, the cylindrical plastic part inside the filter also rotates, scraping most of the fine sediment from the filter screen. It does not remove 100% of fine sediment, but removes most of it, helping to reduce the number of times the entire filter has to be removed for cleaning.
