The onboard seems to work fine. The software is a bit confusing at first. My only issue is that the chest strap for the heart monitor was defective and had to be sent back. I don't like that the chest sensors are on the belt and connected to the central transmitter by latches. Thus, they serve the dueling purpose of completing the circle and creating an elastic circle around your body. I'm concerned that the electrical connection will suffer from constant clicking and disconnecting with normal use. So now I never cancel the spare unit. So far so good after a month.
