Description of 🚴 POSMA DB1 BLE4.0 Cycling Computer Speedometer Odometer with GPS Smartphone Integration for iPhone and Android (Option to Bundle with BHR20 Heart Rate Monitor and BCB20 Speed/Cadence Sensor)

In the box: cycling computer, holder, fixing pad, cable tie x4, button battery and quick start guide. Integrated with SmartPhone Perfectly: DB1 wirelessly receives the real-time data from your SmartPhone. You can monitor your heart rate, speed, cadence, gradient, and more, simply from DB1. Meanwhile, the SmartPhone records the comprehensive and detailed data that offers you the complete report after finishing the cycling. SmartPhone Connect Chooseable: Even if you do not like to ride with a SmartPhone, you can still use DB1 independently. DB1 supports the set-up training program by itself. You can get a comprehensive workout data by pairing with a heart rate strap and a speed/cadence sensor. Save Battery Life: DB1 captures distance data from GPS on a SmartPhone or a speed/cadence sensor itself. That makes the battery life for DB1 up to 800 hours. Moreover, DB1 uses a long-lasting, replaceable coin-cell battery with no need for extra cables for recharging. Easy to Use: Mount with a turn, start with a button. Anytime you would like to start it, just press and ride. Scrolling between the display functions with the single button design, no matter which gloves you are wearing. Simplified but Not Simple: DB1 is designed to be urban and modern looking. You can see the minimal design elements such as the small nearly square shape, one top button design, and large screen on DB1.

Your phone can easily be accidentally paired with the sensor.

Works well. I have paired it with a different brand of Wahoo speed/cadence sensor and heart rate monitor. At first I had problems with all pairings. The trick was to make sure bluetooth was disabled on my phone. It's easy to accidentally connect your phone to the sensor (Bluetooth is a 1:1 connection) and then blame the bike computer for a bad connection. Since I figured out what's going on and disconnected my phone, it's been pretty stable.

Pros
  • Simplified, but not simple: The DB1 should look urban and modern. You can see minimal design elements like the small almost square shape, the single top button design and the big screen on the DB1.
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Built-in device works but chest strap is broken

The onboard seems to work fine. The software is a bit confusing at first. My only issue is that the chest strap for the heart monitor was defective and had to be sent back. I don't like that the chest sensors are on the belt and connected to the central transmitter by latches. Thus, they serve the dueling purpose of completing the circle and creating an elastic circle around your body. I'm concerned that the electrical connection will suffer from constant clicking and disconnecting with normal…

Pros
  • Easy to use: switch on, press the start button. Whenever you want to launch it, just click and go. Switch between display functions with a single button, no matter what gloves you're wearing.
Cons
  • Updates available

I recommend contacting the seller to get the PDF.

It's really hard to choose. It does its job well once you understand how to work with it. I recommend contacting the supplier for a PDF with full instructions. It works well alone or with any application you want to use. The downside is that when the battery dies, you have to reset the bike settings. It does store your workout files, though, which is a bit odd, but thankful for that. I have used other bike computers and this one is definitely worth the price. I would give 5 stars if it had a…

Pros
  • SmartPhone Connect Choice: Even if you don't like to be on the go with your smartphone, you can still use the DB1 alone. DB1 itself maintains a customization training program. You can get comprehensive training data by pairing a wristband with a heart rate sensor and a speed/cadence sensor.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
