Be sure to test it for a short circuit with a meter before using it!
Mine arrived with a complete short between center piece and ground which I found with an ohmmeter after my scanner picked up no signals. If you're planning on using this on a station, be sure to check it out. with a gauge before you attach it! Your Tx will not be happy if you pass on a short. Other reviewers have also noted the same issue, so be vigilant. Even if it arrives without a short, you probably don't want to risk using it on a transmitter as it's a fairly sensitive piece of equipment that can short out at any time.
