I bought this for my sewing workshop (if my husband ever finishes it!). Anyway, I started using it before I brought it home (because we'll all know what it is one day!). I use it in my kitchen, (I need a place to quilt 🤷‍♀️) And it's awesome, it absorbs the heat of the iron so it kind of presses on both sides! (In my kitchen.) It's great when my 7-year-old irons too, because he's quite clingy. She also quilts (in the kitchen 😫), she keeps your block in place which is great because she's new to quilting and ironing. When she presses and I give, the iron stops wrinkling and the cotton doesn't stretch! So if you are looking for a great rug, buy this one! (I hope your husband is more diligent than mine. It doesn't help there, but you will stroke the cubes nicely ❤️ )
