I bought this for a second ironing board in my sewing room so I don't have to lug a large board up and down the stairs when I want to sew. This is sufficient. It's small and doesn't take up much space. You have to be careful not to press too hard on the iron as the legs are not very strong. You also need to take care to secure them in place. When I first used it I thought they were locked and as soon as I put the iron down they collapsed. Once I realized that, things got better. For the price I paid it does the job and I'm happy with it.
