This system worked quickly to charge the batteries for the first time and since I only had it for a short time I can't say whether it holds a good charge or not . I use batteries in my ring streetlights so I'll find out soon if they last the same, less or longer than regular batteries (which I had to replace about once a month). The system also got warm during charging, but that wasn't an unexpected finding. I have since bought a set of rechargeable Tenergy AA and AAA batteries which also charge quickly. I will say that fitting the smaller batteries into the charger was a little tricky, but once I figured out how to do it and made the necessary connections everything else was fine. At the moment I would recommend this product but I will try to write more when I know if the lifespan has lived up to my expectations.
