More than just a beam finder
This hairpin is very accurate and easy to use. I wanted a new one because my old one didn't work. I like it because not only does it find the beam, it also tells you where the center is and alerts you to cables. The video shows you how to start using the spike finder. Please note that I have received a telegraphic warning; I was over the exit! Always check this before drilling or drilling holes in the walls. You can test this by first driving in a thin nail.
