Not recommended for large families

I loved this bread maker because I know the Zojirushi brand stands for quality and my family has always bought our rice cookers from Zojirushi since I was a kid . But I was a bit disappointed with the product's design and its performance in some of the doughs (particularly the gluten free bread) I baked there. there was also an easy-to-read LED screen with large-format digits; and the machine has a nice carrying handle. - Sturdy, reliable Zojirushi technology and heating element - Easy-to-use instruction manual - Small mixing spatula can be easily removed from finished bread - Timer features for adding ingredients and waking up freshly baked bread in the morning - Cleaning a non-stick pan was a breeze, even with gluten-free dough. Cons: - No window in the lid to see if it's time to pierce the rising dough and to reassure people like me who like to check often - LED doesn't indicate how much time is left in each stage (with Except for the baking phase) - The small dough hook dripped a large amount of excess batter from the corners of the baking pan. TIP: Make sure you add liquid ingredients first. This will help reduce the amount of dry flour that doesn't end up in the dough, but it won't completely solve the problem. You can always use a spatula to push the batter to the sides of the pan. The small size of the 1-pound loaf means the bread this machine bakes is too small for most families, and also means that many GF bread mixes have had to be split in half. to adjust the pot size.
