Delicious Bread: Kitchen & Dining

I did not use the timer function. Many years ago I bought one of the first bread makers on the market and was very impressed. However, the loaf size was 1-1/2 pounds. My needs are easier now and I love that this machine makes a 1 pound loaf. I have not been disappointed with any of the breads I have made: French, White and Cinnamon. I like the carry handle as I can't leave it on the counter. They recommend using a scale to measure the ingredients. I highly recommend this as well as I have found

Good bread, small loaves, great machine

This bread maker is designed for small loaves of bread; ideal if you have one or two people in your family. The machine itself is slightly smaller than large bread machines. The baked bread was perfectly cooked. My wife used metered ingredients as opposed to pre-packaged mixes (which are mostly made for larger machines and cost more than using individual ingredients). around our stalls and the bread didn't come out so well. Our original Zohirushi for large loaves was given to our daughter and…

Makes the non-baker look like a pro

Small loaves are perfect for combining. If you have a family or a large business, pay attention to the double bread making machine. My prep time is about ten to fifteen minutes. In most cases, the baking time is about 3.5 hours, or an hour less with high-speed yeast. The automatic feeding of additional ingredients enables uncomplicated baking in most cases (automatic feeding is not possible with cheese bread). The recipes in the included booklet are so simple, even a non-baker could make them…

Pros
  • Quick changeovers
Cons
  • No mold required

I always love Zojirushi products

I always love Zojirushi products, this machine makes great bread as advertised. Its home setting is useful. It came small and fits under the kitchen shelves. I have one complaint: when kneading, the flour or raisins/sesame seeds fall out of the inner pot very easily and remain near the heating zone. This makes cleaning difficult as it is a heavy, tall machine and it is difficult to fling and pull out the raisins. I tried a handheld vacuum but it didn't work perfectly as the central heating area

Thing is LOUD in small appliances

So it's not a lot, that is a lot, a bit pricey, but I had one of their rice cookers that lasted 15 years with a $12 or $15 silicone part. To make it last so long, I bit the bullet and bought it. The crust is always a bit hard, it can be due to the height, I have to adjust the ingredients, not the baker, you have to look at that. Either way, the bread turns out great and I highly recommend it for that reason. I have to bake a ton of loaves of bread to justify the price, but since the loaves come

Not impressed - kitchen and dining room

Thought I'd upgrade my old Zo Mini to a model with more advanced features. Well it really isn't. Of course, they added a bunch of presets and house dishes where you can adjust the kneading and rising times, but then they did the weirdest thing, removed the setting for controlling the light crust and replaced the display cycle time setting with a setting replaced for the end times. Instead of a light and normal setting, the Crust Control setting is medium and dark. I wouldn't risk baking high…

Bakes good bread with little effort

I have made about 45 loaves of bread with this machine, mostly white (using active dry yeast) or quick white (using instant yeast). They're easy to make and delicious if you follow the recipe book that comes with them. I was even able to adapt some recipes from different websites by adjusting the ingredient ratio so that the flour came out at around 2°C. Overall the machine runs great, although I have a few medium complaints and a few minor ones: my only real complaint is that the ingredients…

Not recommended for large families

I loved this bread maker because I know the Zojirushi brand stands for quality and my family has always bought our rice cookers from Zojirushi since I was a kid . But I was a bit disappointed with the product's design and its performance in some of the doughs (particularly the gluten free bread) I baked there. there was also an easy-to-read LED screen with large-format digits; and the machine has a nice carrying handle. - Sturdy, reliable Zojirushi technology and heating element - Easy-to-use…
