Got these to help our 60 lb. dog who was slipping badly trying to get up our wooden stairs after tearing his cruciate. He would slip, get scared, and then fear made him rush the ascent more and he'd slip even more badly. Plus his nails were scraping the heck out of our stairs. A vet tech told us about treads and these have made a huge difference, he now zips right up and the treads haven't moved at all. I just eyed them when I put them down and I was able to easily move a crooked one when I noticed it. It's been a month now and they've held up quite well and still look good. They've been great for our dog and they also make it much quieter when we go up and down. I strongly recommend them.
