Lightweight vs Rubber

PLEASE ADVISE IF WE SHOULD RETURN FOAM FOR RUBBERI have a boxed 4” foam lightweight threshold riser which arrived yesterday. I am concerned I should have invested in the 50 lb rubber version.We live where it will received months of days in excess of 100 degrees and also cannot afford to have it springy or slide around. It will be positioned from kitchen slider to wood deck.We await your advice.Sent from my iPad
