Good tutorial to see what you are doing

I'm about to start a new swing learning and needed constant feedback on what I was doing (body lies to you) and this works great for providing visual feedback. You have to place it close to the ball so you can see everything well. If you walk, you lose your legs or your head. I complain that it is almost thin and very light. The mirror is so light that, despite the footboard, it is easily moved by the wind, so the lines do not always stay where they were originally. To fix the running board, I used small rubber bands. With the footrest attached, it still fits in the carry bag. It has limited angle adjustment but can be used both horizontally and vertically. The vertical position is the most commonly used. I haven't tried it on a putter but based on similar putting tools it should show your shoulder alignment as well as the squareness of the clubhead as it hits the ball. Every few hits on the ball, the mirror needs to be adjusted. Looking in a mirror has the added benefit of helping you keep your head straight. Nothing beats a camcorder, but it's a great helper. The tote bag converts into a small backpack that I carry my gloves, t-shirts, camera, etc. in. So I can easily take them to the shooting range. Four stars because at $60 it's pretty flimsy. He does exactly what he is supposed to. Eyeline is a bunch of good workout products, but you need to take good care of them to make them last. I would recommend them to players of all skill levels. I've researched to find alternative convex mirrors, but they're expensive and require some kind of makeshift easel to watch you swing. Update 06/22/12 The bag that the mirror comes in also serves as a small backpack. I use it for gloves, t-shirts, my camera, etc. I take it with me every time I go to the shooting range. Helps a lot with the settings. It's not so good to watch everything as the swing ends in less than 2 seconds. I broke it a few times.

Pros
  • Turn on this mirror and see yourself from club head to tip of swing without changing head position to see properly
Cons
  • Frequency
