2004 Toyota 4Runner with OME Lift Coils 895

My new camper trailer caused the rear of my 4Runner to squat enough that it lifted the front a bit and made the steering a little blurry. Because the 4Runner goes up 2 inches with Old Man Emu (OME) coils, the kit listed for the 2004 4Runner is not true to size. I emailed Air Lift about my application and they responded the same day with measuring instructions to help find the right kit. I sent them measurements of the inside of the coils that night and got a reply the next morning as to which kit would fit best. Installation was easy but could have been easier if I had thought 3 seconds before starting. I was able to install the bags without removing the coils by jacking up the back of the 4Runner so both wheels were hanging down. I had "three tier" fenders in my coils and had to cut the underside of the upper tier to fit properly. Pro tip (which I went for on the second fender): If you're not removing coils, cut each "plane" of the fender individually, starting at the bottom edge. On the first coil I cut off the entire fender and then I realized I couldn't thread it through the coils to get it out. I had to pin it on one end with a tool while cutting it into a few pieces to remove it. Once the baffles were removed I was able to push the bags into the coils while they were fully deflated. There are already holes on the spring bars and I was able to run air ducts through these holes to connect to the bags. I connected the lines from both bags together with the attached "T" and routed to the included valve. I placed the valve just behind the driver's side rear fender through the existing opening in the fender. I have a bike pump (full size, not bag/frame) that I use to add air to bags. about a minute to air. At around 25 psi I found that the rear of the 4Runner only sags 1-2 inches with a loaded trailer as opposed to 4-6s without. They have now done 2 rides, about 500 miles towed and 1000 miles unloaded and (other than the loss of the air valve cap) they show no signs of wear.
