Review on Authentic Subaru STi SOA342L126 License Plate Holder by Yuan Walsh

Overall I'm very happy with this frame; It's a genuine Subaru part, which is nice. The only problem is that it doesn't include longer screws. As with many others, the bolts that came with the car were too short to accommodate the included gaskets and caps. This isn't necessarily a fault of the frame itself, although it would be nice if they included longer bolts. Luckily I had some bigger/longer screws to use. Assembling the plate and frame is a fairly simple process. However, it may happen that the frame touches the paintwork with the supplied washers/pads. Instead of the spacers that came with it, I used a couple of thick rubber washers that had just enough room so the top of the frame wouldn't touch the paint and then scratch it. As for the trim strips that came with it, I glued them to the underside of the license plate area to keep the frame from popping on the paint when the trunk is closed. I just wish it had 4 mounting holes instead of just 2. My STi has both. top and bottom screw holes, so it would be better if it was fixed with 4 screws instead of 2. OK.
