Authentic Subaru STi SOA342L126 License Plate Holder Review

Without a doubt one of the best sti license plate frames on the market, it just gives the car a little bit of uniqueness, I love the way it looks On the car the product quality is also really good .

Looks great on my white 2019 STi. Really completes the look. Installation was easy, my standard screws were the right size and long enough. I added some soundproofing to the back of the bottom of the panel to stop the rattling.

But it's a genuine Subaru part which can be (expensive). Much better than anything you buy at an auto parts store, that's all. It's durable, the glossy emblem looks great and comes with all hardware. Also, I like the fact that the plate actually slides and is held in place by the frame itself. Don't pick up nits. I just wish the frame itself was a little darker and lighter. Would make it really popular for the money. That's all.

This low profile frame is great. It looks great with my white 2k16 STi. Very glad I chose this. Gives the car a really nice clean factory look. No aesthetic issues but the other posters are correct in the sense that you need to add some cushions on the back of the panel towards the bottom so the panel doesn't hit the trunk when you close it. Let me start by saying that this is "NOT" a cheap flimsy plastic frame. It has weight and is made of solid metal (I don't know the type, it says somewhere in the description). The part of the frame that says "STI Subaru Technica International" is protected by a glass cover, so buyers don't have to worry about the badge chipping off over time due to the weather. Overall I'm very happy with this frame; It's a genuine Subaru part, which is nice. The only problem is that it doesn't include longer screws. As with many others, the bolts that came with the car were too short to accommodate the included gaskets and caps. This isn't necessarily a fault of the frame itself, although it would be nice if they included longer bolts. Luckily I had some bigger/longer screws to use.
