I really like these juggling balls; They feel good and sand doesn't stick to them. But I am very annoyed by the variability from ball to ball. Two are much softer, like beanbags, while the third is more densely packed. I can't think of an easy way to measure the difference, but if I pinch either of my two healthy fingers between my thumb and forefinger, my fingers are only half an inch apart, but on a hard ball, only my fingers squelch to an inch apart . I was hoping it had something to do with her hack, but nothing seems to have changed. I've just weighed them and two good ones weigh 64g and one small one weighs 66g. I'm not worried that they don't weigh exactly 70g, maybe I have the wrong scale. But I think the extra 2 grams of filler changed the feel and I lost hope that they would "root". I'm not mad enough to return them because the mesh surface feels really good and they're still way better than the cheap keg bags I've used, but for $$ I was expecting a set to match.
