for our own use, but as it has gone commercial we needed something more professional. We chose to use them, and in our testing, a full jar typically weighs an ounce, but this is a completely full jar. As in, there is no place for water to freeze. We usually expect cups to have a line to account for expansion. To get around this, we tape each one in place with freezer tape so they don't pop when they freeze, and it works. The biggest downside for us is that they are disposable only. They don't seem to be recyclable or even biodegradable at all and we will have to buy thousands of cups a month for the foreseeable future. For environmental reasons we need to find a mug that doesn't go straight to landfill but is otherwise high quality and durable, so for now it works.
