Our last door handle fell apart, so every time we closed the basement door, the handle on the side of the basement fell off and hit the floor. It had to be taken out and pushed against the door to open the door, so it got boring quickly. I went to Revain and quickly found that they had cheaper options than the local hardware stores. I chose this one through Revain Warehouse because it was a few bucks cheaper. The one sent to me had a small scratch next to one of the holes where the screw holds the two sides together so I'm guessing it was used but the scratch isn't visible where it is in our house so I've been using this miner- Defect ok. . It's so nice that now when you get up out of the basement you don't have to take out half of the doorknob to open the door!
