I've just started using this keyboard case and so far I like some of its features. I used to have magnetic detachable keyboards on my iPad mini, so I almost knew what I was getting. The keyboard is quite nice, the keys are a good size for my medium-sized fingers, the blue backlit background when using KB is good too, and the charge seems to take a long time between charges. I'm still on my original charge with around 5-6 hours of use. Firstly, as for docking the keyboard to my iPad Air 2, there is a 'pad' included in the box that fits to the back of the case if your device needs to be a bit thicker to fit snugly, which I do have used . out. Back to the dock, the strong magnets ensure a solid dock and your device will still stick to the dock so you can use it like a "laptop" or flip it the other way for tablet use. Note: The keyboard has no switch, when paired it is on. If you're using the keyboard case in tablet mode, you'll need to go into settings and turn off the Bluetooth setting to use your device's onscreen keyboard. OR press the keyboard icon button on the keyboard case to display the on-screen keyboard. This is probably easier to do, but having a switch on the keyboard case would be a better alternative in my opinion, but not a deal breaker I'd buy anyway. All in all it's a good buy good price if you are looking for this type of case or keyboard case this is a good buy.
