So far I am very happy with the purchase of this machine. The backlight is good, the backlight is decent too. My only concern is how long it will take, especially in the Michigan winter. I think it's bad to know as it comes with a 2 year guarantee. Installation isn't very difficult if you're a bit of an electrician and can find the signal wires and ignition voltage/ground. The double-sided tape on the back of the device is very thin but sticks well. If the surface is not completely flat, there will not be full contact. I am planning to buy a second set for my other car. Update 02/08/2020 I recently noticed that the LED marker on the right side flickers in static ice blue mode. Downgraded to 2 stars. If it only lasts 6 or 7 months it's not worth the hassle for me and I still don't see any warranty details. Now I'm not impressed at all.
