After looking everywhere for WAVE leaf scissors for a friend who liked my now discontinued Fiskars WAVE scissors I stumbled upon these and god be it Thanks where - the WAVE blade scissors do something else. Not everyone likes or wants to use Olfa's round cutting blade to create a wavy effect on fabric. These scissors are great for trimming the edges of fleece blankets. No sewing or hemming. Just a nice cut edge. TIP: To create a beautiful two-layer bedspread, fold two pieces of fleece fabric in two different colors or printed in one color. Sew about two inches from the edge, WAVE cutting one layer closer to the seam than the other. Makes a nice layered border around the quilt throw. If you like, add an "X" line down the middle to hold the layers together. So simple and easy. Even a novice seamstress can handle it.
