Will not cut cotton

I bought 3mm notched scissors to cut the seams on the doll clothes I make. While I was glad to find them in a smaller size and really wish they would work, they just don't cut through normal jeans. In the photo, the cut on the left is my regular large notched scissors and the cut on the right is these 3mm scissors. The top fabric is t-shirt jersey (they almost cut it out), the middle is regular cotton and the bottom is satin fabric. I even tried cutting a sheet of aluminum foil into tiny strips

The WAVE trimming scissors are a gem for finishing the edges of fleece fabrics

After looking everywhere for WAVE leaf scissors for a friend who liked my now discontinued Fiskars WAVE scissors I stumbled upon these and god be it Thanks where - the WAVE blade scissors do something else. Not everyone likes or wants to use Olfa's round cutting blade to create a wavy effect on fabric. These scissors are great for trimming the edges of fleece blankets. No sewing or hemming. Serrated scissors from Hui Tong!

I have been sewing for over 40 years and have used many different types (and brands) of scissors during that time. I bought these Hui Tong serrated fabric scissors (size 7mm) for a recent craft project. I didn't want to use plain serrated scissors for my project.
