I changed the standard profiles on two premium cars - a crossover and an SUV to lower ones, in particular, this Yokohama in size 285/50/20, instead of the standard size 285/60/18. On both cars, the sensitivity to the rut increased sharply - it drags in and throws out - just dangerous ! Gentlemen, with our roads, do not chase after a low European rubber profile, it is an absolute evil - in ruts, handling drops by 2/3, unlike a 5% increase on a flat road. It turns out we lose a lot (comfort on bumps) for a small increase (excessive sharpness steering nervousness) controllability - as if the regular one is not enough. Take tires with an increased profile, like the Korean Ssanyongs, and not vice versa.
