The flexable nylon rod detached, leaving half the rod stuck in the chimney.

The rod enters the chimney well enough. But when you pull the rod out of the chimney, it comes appart in the middle, leaving about 12 feet of rod stuck in the chimney.I was going to return the unit, but the UPS store is actually the Toman Library and does not accept returns.

Pros

Bought for my dad. He's up in age and had no problems using it. He loves it.

Cons

The kit requires significant physical effort to use
