I didn't post my photos because I rented my own space after 36 years. I didn't want to paralyze the walls. But I ended up ordering them because of the review and all because of my loneliness (so I'm not a handyman or a person with tools and I was afraid I'd ruin the wall) I hung TEN pictures - mostly pictures I bought . over the years, but two family photos. My paintings aren't that heavy, even though I have a large poster frame. I used two hooks just in case. For everyone else, some small ones, about a foot by 18 inches, I used a hook. The nails came in easily with my little $9 hammer. My photos appeared in no time. Some of them had wires and a few had a metal "jagged" thing on their upper back. Both hang normally. I'm grateful for the feedback I left that they worked well and left VERY small holes in the wall. Completely true. Very small holes, easy to plug, hooks work exactly as described. Can't confirm the 30lb aspect as none of mine were more than, say, 10lbs. And most of them were less than 5. But I think for most of your photo or poster needs it will be absolutely fine.
