Wood is good 30 ounce hammer is essential for big chisels. Balance, ergonomics, materials and craftsmanship all cry out for a tool built to last. It's great to see companies like Wood is Good making a tool of this caliber here in the US. This hammer might cost a little more, but it's worth it as it deforms and holds up well compared to the others. I use a 30 ounce hammer mostly with 2 inch and large angle chisels for wood frame projects. I find this to be the perfect balance of weight and strength for a bit of this size.
