We love this play grip! We train our pup in a kennel and it has worked so well! During the day she has enough space and we are not afraid that she will break something. I bought a reusable 4x4 puppy pad to put underneath and it seems to have helped keep the handle from slipping into a diamond shape as some other reviews have noted. We didn't have any problems with her trying to get out, so we didn't cover the top, but we could easily with wire mesh or wire mesh and zip ties. We put in a dog bed, food and water bowl and toys and she still has a place to run and play. The locks are also secure. Not that she could open it while my other dogs can easily open and escape from a regular kennel! I definitely recommend this playground for small dogs!
