I thought it would be better, but overall not bad.

Sometimes a very good equipment like a Rode is worth spending more money on in order to achieve exceptional quality. But not right now. This buttonhole is definitely not worth paying too much for. Take an analog instead; the BOYA BY-LM20 is four times less expensive.

Pros

White in tone. suitable for light clothing. Utilizes Zoom records nicely (tested H1 and H5).

Cons

I was let down by the caliber. It's not terrible, of course, but the BOYA BY-LM20 microphone is four times less expensive and doesn't have a lower quality than this one. The clip's attachment to the buttonhole is quite ill-designed. In the first minute of use, the spring detached itself from the clip.
