Review on Jebao Programmable Auto Dosing Pump DP-4: Efficient and Flexible Black Dosing Pump by Amanda Thomas

First, the programming options are very limited. If you want to change the days, you need to set them to 23:59 and 00:01 every day. Since it was doable, I didn't get too angry. Then I discovered that only two of the four pumps were working. The last two made an odd noise but didn't pump the solution. The first pump only made a few drips so I had to remove the dial, make sure all the components were ok and finally found I had to loosen/disconnect the hose inside to make it work. Now after all that, I was glad it was set up and working. I followed the steps to calibrate the pumps and blew all the air out of the hoses. That last part was thorough but important. Over the next few days I noticed quite large air bubbles getting into the hose. I checked the tightness of the connections between the solution tanks and the pumps and blew the pipes again. Big air bubbles again. I assumed it was a whistle that might have tiny holes in it, so I went out and bought a new whistle. Again, not from a local pet store in case this happens again, but from an online store. Calibrated, blown tubes, fingers crossed. No! Big bubbles! Seeing that these might be connections to the pipe I sealed all the connections with glue. Air bubbles the next day but I realized I missed some spots and some connections so I caulked better. air bubbles. The only thing I can think of is that the tubing that goes inside the pumps has holes in them, but would both pumps have holes? I'm not sure what the odds are. So I gave up on the Jebao DP-4. The whole community of aquarists and aquarists can recommend it, but apparently I have no luck with it.
