I took a chance on this mask and it paid off. Picked up this mask in Puerto Rico on my first time spearfishing in Blue Water. I was nervous trying it on when I first got it as it fogged up within seconds. Thinking it was a problem with the mask I went to the local dive shop thinking I would buy a more expensive mask. The guy there told me that all the masks are coated with a silicone spray to extend the expiration date, which causes the glass to fog up. I bought a mask cleaner and an anti-fog product called Scrub and Spit. It worked wonders! I spent 4-5 hours in the water with no problems. As a result, I got my first wahoo! I have no experience with expensive masks, but I can't think of a reason to buy. Can't speak to the durability of the mask (other than it looks well built) but for now this mask does everything I need. I highly recommend!
