Review on 🐢 Pet Net Vehicle Safety Mesh Dog Barrier - 50" W for SUV/Car/Truck/Van - Designed to Fit Behind Front Seats for Travelin K9 by Samantha Stevens

Great Wall! Adapts to almost any vehicle. Worth the price! πŸ‘πŸ‘

I often take my large (75 and 90 lb) Weimaraners in the Chevy Tahoe. I have straps and tethers to attach to my seat belts, but often they manage to step on the seat belt release button and fly free into my truck. Dangerous situation. And there are times when it's very difficult to get everyone into your seat belt and buckle up just for quick errands. That's why I bought the Travelin K9 dog guard. At first I was concerned that it wouldn't fit my large SUV or that I would have trouble figuring out how to attach it. I was relieved to discover that there are SEVERAL ways to fit it into my car! (Which anyone thinking about buying will find it VERY helpful as vehicles can be so different). This barrier is very good at holding back my big, wild mutts. I have mixed feelings about the upper extending the top of the barrier. As others have pointed out this makes it difficult to see behind me and back up but can be lowered easily which improves my ability to see what dogs are doing and move around behind me BUT one day one spotted it my dogs "flip down" feature and while being stopped and pumping gas I somehow managed to climb over the barrier and rummaged through my purse which alarmed me. as he has a habit of chewing up and destroying my most prized possessions (e.g. a new, unused Coach wallet and prescription glasses that I only wore for 2 weeks!). For this reason I am deducting a star. I can probably buy two cheap bungee hooks and make sure that doesn't happen again. This issue most likely wouldn't arise if 97% of dogs were barricaded with this mesh device, but I've learned that this particular dog can do things it shouldn't (which explains my fast graying hair!).
