If you have bees, you need them!

I have had an apiary for several years. I've always wondered if there is a way to test my honey's moisture level. I've never had honey sourdough, but I don't want to risk such a valuable resource. After some studies I gravitated towards refractometers. I assumed they would be expensive but was amazed that it was so cheap! The package arrived three days after ordering. I just collected some honey and tested it after calibrating it per the instructions that came with my refractometer. At 18% humidity I was dead and couldn't be happier! Easy to use. Easy to clean. I feel much more confident storing my honey after using this device. This is a MUST if you are a bic!
