Review on Samsung Electronics Tab S7 & Tab S7+ S Pen Mystic Navy - EJ-PT870BNEGUJ - Premium Stylus for Ultimate Precision by Lisa Hill

I've bought this stylus twice now and both times I've had to return it simply because there is no information on whether the 'S Pen' stylus is compatible with previous Samsung tablets or phones is. I don't like the fact that there are no instructions included with the stylus and I have no idea if a special pairing process is required, for example I didn't even think it might be a bluetooth device until the seller at Best Buy showed up saying I assumed it might be, but neither he nor any of the other employees at Best Buy where I took it could find out if it's backwards compatible, has bluetooth or anything I think. It just looks like a dark piece of plastic in the shape of a pen. Is there a battery in it? The stickers on the shipping box seem to indicate this, but without relevant information about this product or a way to unscrew and test one of the ends, just don't try to buy it for an older phone or tablet model. I wouldn't have bought it if it had the "Samsung X specific version ONLY" information, but I was dying to see if I could add pressure sensitivity levels to an old tablet. Spring. I think the old tablet is now only used as an alarm clock or as a digital photo in a frame on the wall. I ended up going to another Best Buy store and just bought a new Microsoft Surface Go that is cellular compatible. I'm a graphic artist and the new Surface Go looks like the product I really need.
