Positively surprised. I bought the kid's version last week and found it a little difficult to drink from. It worked fine, I just couldn't "swallow" like I usually do. Anyway I bought this big version and wow! It really works! I think the holes in this version should be bigger than the kid version because I'm actually fine (almost swallowing) my liquids. Very happy. I will keep both versions. A kid's mug (very fun because it has glow-in-the-dark space scenes) is great for both juice and water. The large mug is perfect for my tea. By the way, since I mentioned tea: the manufacturer does not recommend using this product for hot drinks. So I'm putting iced tea in the fridge and I'm going to drink it instead of hot tea. Yes, I like hot tea too, but I often spill tea on the carpet, so I really need a spill-proof mug. I will cool down to use this mug.
