Review on Glencairn Whisky Glass Set of 4: Unparalleled Elegance and Exceptional Tasting Experience by Robert Petrig

I first found these glasses after searching the internet for whiskey glasses on my own. I later heard about them from Whisk(e)y Vault and decided they were the goggles for me. The packaging was fine. Others might have had a sloppy packer, but my glasses installed nicely, with paper around them and lots of bubble wrap between their own cardboard and shipping container. What is it like to use these glasses? Extraordinary. I have tried both Woodford Reserve and Monkey Shoulder on the rocks, Collins, Wine and Glencairn glasses. Glencairns are definitely a big deal. You don't smell the alcohol up your nose (unless you're carrying a glass), but you do smell the full flavor of the whisky. The flavor notes others claim are present in some whiskeys are more evident in this glass and I found myself finding more expressive ways to describe these whiskeys I have always loved. Short answer: Buy these glasses now.
