reviews ranged from enthusiastic to dismissive and didn't fulfill its role as a spatula or spoon very well. It is neither one nor the other. What it is is a well designed, well made multifunctional utensil that is great for measuring, stirring, scooping and scraping. Doesn't exclude all spatulas, gauges and spoons though. smaller and bigger option, it's more valuable. A smaller variant is available, but the larger, wider version is not available. Without a bigger option, it's not a true fried egg, pancake-worthy. Sure, he can scratch a scrambled egg, but flip a few fried ones without tearing the yolks? Hardly. I think three sizes can deserve that fifth star?
