I print mostly PETG and the sock prevents most stuck nozzles from leaving burn marks or unwanted hard parts on my prints. But there are problems with these socks: 1. They don't hold the heat block well. Because they're cast in block form and don't have a locking mechanism, they don't snap as if they weren't as flexible. The little protrusions at the top just don't hold it, so there's always some flexibility there.2. Due to the fit, the bottom may sag slightly, creating a gap between the heating block and the inside of the sock at the bottom.3. PETG accumulates on the back of the printer, which I believe is due to the fans blowing from the front to the back. The combination of these factors can be disastrous when debris builds up between the toe and the heater block.
