I'm impressed with how well they work. They look big, much bigger than regular filters. And the packaging is also larger and takes up more space. The added cost is the biggest downside to buying when I can get a 100 pack (flat, single) for about half the price. But they work to keep coffee grounds out of the coffee or create a mess in the basket. They are easy to use. Simply unfold and center in the basket using the center hole as a guide. I have to put it in the basket to fill the coffee. Once you've poured your coffee, simply fold all four corners over, again using the small holes as a guide. Then finish the coffee preparation as usual. It is also very easy to dispose of it along with the used set. It lifts up and is very easy to dispose of, leaving most of the earth inside. And it doesn't leave a lot of mess in the trash. I didn't notice any difference in taste or smell when using it. Coffee brews very well. The best part, no reason!
