Not comparable to Silhouette

You would think a mat is a mat, it's all about stickiness right? This happens until you crop the same thing you've always cropped and notice a drastic difference. I needed a new rug and loved the offer and found it didn't look much different than my silhouette. The same size and fields, and the usual has the same stickiness. But once I started clipping different projects, I kept having problems. It didn't seem to reach the right depth. So I tried the same program, same settings and same paper on different mats and you can see the difference in the picture. Ditto for vinyl, this new carpet was a lot harder to sort out. So I'm back to the original. After all, the price is not worth the extra effort.

Pros

. Storage of the cutting mat: Leave the clear protective film on the cutting mat after use to prevent dirt and dust from sticking to the cutting mat. Use a scraper to scrape off any excess pieces and a spatula to gently remove the cut out images.
