I just had to make a few simple adjustments. Side clips to make room for my ears and then a chin strap so I can move my mouth enough to speak comfortably. After that, it proved surprisingly comfortable for a bike helmet. I particularly appreciated the soft protective fabric that eliminates the risk of skin damage in the chin strap area. Compared to my more traditional bike helmet, I found this reduced head sweat and was much more comfortable. I have found that this reduces the likelihood of me being hypocritical towards my children by forcing them to wear helmets while avoiding them. So if comfort is keeping you from wearing a helmet, give this one a try.
