Hard Hollow She's Fit Good

True to size and perfectly adapting to the head thanks to internal protective pads and chin pads that can be left or cut off. I'm old school so not a helmet lover but was glad to get this helmet for review after bumping into a bunch of jerks who don't mind cyclists. In any case, it seemed solid, empty and safe. I'll never know for sure unless I crash or fall off my bike, but I wouldn't test it that way. Definitely recommend.

Fits well but the glossy finish doesn't last long

This bike helmet is easy to put on, take off and adjust. It fits well and is fairly comfortable; Airflow is adequate, but it would be nice to have more padding on the sides of the straps. The fabric visor is a bit annoying and not meant to be easily removed, but can be cut off with scissors. It's also gray instead of black like the picture and sheds dirt and grease. A replacement top elastic and pad are included, but there are no replacement parts for the chin pad. One of the matte finishes is…

Comfortable, adjustable and cool

I just had to make a few simple adjustments. Side clips to make room for my ears and then a chin strap so I can move my mouth enough to speak comfortably. After that, it proved surprisingly comfortable for a bike helmet. I particularly appreciated the soft protective fabric that eliminates the risk of skin damage in the chin strap area. Compared to my more traditional bike helmet, I found this reduced head sweat and was much more comfortable. I have found that this reduces the likelihood of me…

very oval shape, not suitable for a round head

Largely advertised as fitting head circumference 58-62cm. However, my head size is 60 cm (hat size 7.5) and this helmet is too narrow for me. My head is rather round, while this helmet appears to be very oval on the inside. I have no problem fitting plus size Giro bike helmets. If this helmet appeals to you then it seems well made for this price point. The straps are strong and adjustable. Fit and finish appear to be good. The few sizes available are good for people with larger or smaller heads

Suitable for people with large oval heads

This Abus Yadd-I bike helmet fits my large head perfectly and is totally comfortable. I got the size large and keep my fingers crossed, because even a large helmet often doesn't fit me. This one fits perfectly! Someone mentioned that it's better for people with an oval head shape than a round one, and I agree. My head is more oval than my son's and it's the most comfortable helmet we've ever worn. It has an excellent internal strap system for a secure fit. I'm not afraid of the helmet slipping…

Comfortable but hot

This is a great helmet for the city. It's not the most stylish piece (a bit chunky) and looks more like a traditional riding helmet. There's a small round cover that flips open for the added effect of a sun visor, but it has pros and cons (see below). Overall I didn't have an accident but found the fit and comfort to be okay. We're used to it being handy for using local JUMP bikes around town, but I'm not sure I'd use it for anything that requires more serious effort because it doesn't cool my…

Abus Yadd-I Lg - 58-62 Bike Helmet Black

The Abus Yadd-I -Lg-58-62 is a good enough bike helmet but has a size issue. I got it for a review hoping my husband could wear it while cycling but even the large size is still too small for his head. He can put it on, but it puts unbearable pressure on his temples, so it definitely won't work. It comes with two extra pads that are exactly the same size as the pads already fitted in the helmet, so it doesn't make much sense. If I can't use thicker pads that fit me, then they're utterly useless
