Abus Yadd-I Lg - 58-62 Bike Helmet Black

The Abus Yadd-I -Lg-58-62 is a good enough bike helmet but has a size issue. I got it for a review hoping my husband could wear it while cycling but even the large size is still too small for his head. He can put it on, but it puts unbearable pressure on his temples, so it definitely won't work. It comes with two extra pads that are exactly the same size as the pads already fitted in the helmet, so it doesn't make much sense. If I can't use thicker pads that fit me, then they're utterly useless to everyone in our family. It has a regular hard plastic case with styrofoam inside and comes with two extra spacers but they are the same size. since the pads are already in the helmet. The buckle is the typical snap buckle of many bicycle helmet chin straps. It has a few vents to keep your head cool while cycling and overall the helmet feels pretty decent. It looks the same as in the photo. Fixed sun visor with a small beak. If you have a big head I would probably choose XL instead of L. One really good thing I noticed is that it's incredibly light. Because of the sealing problem I give 3 stars. However, it is so light that I don't see anyone getting tired of carrying it due to weight issues. Also, my helmet arrived with scratches on the top and no instructions on how to fit it. I bought another helmet a few weeks ago before getting the Abus helmet to test: Nutcase Solid Street adult cycling helmet, cream, medium. He's nice and they come in black too, but he's a bit heavier than Abus and his visor doesn't get stuck. What's really cool is that it has an internal adjustment system for a snug fit, additional pads of different sizes, and a magnetic chin strap buckle that's super easy to use.
