We live in an area that is heavily infested with mosquitoes and this protects them from bites better than real mosquito spray. This summer I bought several cans of OFF defense spray for me and my husband and bought it for my young children thinking it would be safer. My mom used this for me in the 90's and I remember it worked like a charm. After a few hours outside on July 4th, I had 32 mosquito bites on my legs. I hosed down 4 times in those hours because I always felt like they were biting me. My children were unharmed. I think my eldest just had a bite on his back which should have been under his shirt where I didn't spray. A week later my husband and I spent an evening outside in a hammock. He used OFF, I used this one. He had a few bites and I have 1 or 2 new ones. I think that says it all. Yes, the scent hasn't changed and still smells like 90's, oily notes. But it's worth it!
