Review on ๐Ÿ”ง 700x24 S33 Pro Tubular Tire by Tufo by Adam Hardy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This Tufo is rock solid and worth the money

Absolutely great solid tire. Not the lightest tubular, but not too heavy either. Our rural back roads here in East Texas will burst any smaller tire. I have this Tufo in the rear position on my 40mm carbon wheel filled with 2 ounces of Orange Seal to prevent flat tires. After about 700 miles of use in our hot summer season it has yet to have a flat tire - if it has, let's hope Orange Seal will 'do the trick' and seal it - just as a new 'Road Tubeless' installation is expected . make. So, after 4 months of heavy use, I'm ordering a Frontmate to match this one. I had an entry hose - Clement that was 4 years old (not the best plan to be economical) and it burst at a jagged pavement joint. This also gets a seal. What I love about using it for most practice rides and fast group rides is the ability to get 85-90psi and get a much more comfortable ride that softens bumps but doesn't worry about pinching. This is one of the durable tires. Good. Work Tufo!

Pros
  • 60 TPI construction
Cons
  • Good but not great
